Hope Joy is a Christian and was raised by her grandparents in a small town in Pennsylvania. She attended college in Pennsylvania and law school in Washington, D.C. Inspired by her illness to share that it is possible to have joy in the midst of the most challenging circumstances, “Dying to Live: A Call to Joy” and “Dying to Live: A Call to Joy – The Power of a Testimony” are Hope Joy’s first offerings as an author. Her goal is to start a testimonial movement whereby others share their testimonies as encouragement that you don’t have to become your crisis—that it is possible to endure difficulties and come out on the other side better because of the healing and restorative power of God.
