Collage--the pieced placement of others' works forming new wonders can lack the earthy, human passion adeptly communicated in music. The UKORian experiment respires surprise, excitement, melancholy, and ambiance for our space. Tuned to that space--we provoke a communion of sound, founded in improvisation. Splinter me out the jewel of a juicy black lime, lime, lime... this eruption came--brought us running, red-footed, across a molten earth, which bloomed in motion. We saw the pregnant future and drank to our loosening legs. We could youtheneyes our impulses and telekinize the seedling smokes hovering above our homes. We architected monuments to melt back into their molten beginnings. We vibrated a circle which revealed itself.

Our ensemble’s duration of greater than 15 years has given us time to hone the concept. UKOR recordings include the sounds of many individually-crafted and unique instruments, some recurring, some not; we also play traditional instruments and modern devices but never material sampled from non-band created sources. UKOR’s music has no samples and is not collage. Musical scribble is a blend of the excitement, astonishment, and improvisitional groove with our method of composition, which we more aptly call "exposition."
