The fiesta of Corpus Christi in Suchiapa, Chiapas, Mexico is one of the most colorful and heartfelt fiestas in all of Mexico. It is a mixture of prehispanic and christian traditions and is basically a fertility rite. I've been going to it now for eleven years and have not tired of it. The calendar has 12 black and white portraits of participants in the processions, dances and celebrations of Corpus Christi. Both US and Mexican holidays are included.
