I arrived in Peru in 2003 to launch a career as a freelance correspondent. Over the next half decade I became a photojournalist by necessity. As I crossed the Andean nation doing my work I took time to try and take photographs of Peruvians as they actually live in Peru - not the shots you see in the travel magazines. This calendar is a collection of the best images I was able to capture during that period.
