"being berin kinsman was one of the best books I've read all year." -Cameron Goble, Dice Make Bonk
Unlike other roleplaying games, where you get to play a variety of characters like elves and monster hunters and underwear perverts (you might know them as “superheroes”) and stuff like that, in being berin kinsman you only get to play one character: me. An entire adventuring party consisting of versions of me, interacting with NPC versions of me, battling villainous versions of... me.
This game serves as a condensed version of the story of my life. 97% of what I've written here is absolutely true. The rest ranges from little white lies to utter bulldada. I'll leave it to you to determine which is which. But remember, a factoid that's true in the real world might not be interesting in your game, and vice versa. Details of my life that are missing can and should be fudged. It's your version of me that you're playing. Make me your own....More >< Less
