'The Compendium' is a collection of eighteen independent short stories which also form a part of a greater whole.
The stories range in length and scope, but generally occupy the sci fi/supernatural camp.
Book One contains Episode One: 'The Assignment', in which a group of university students are sent to examine some ancient Mayan ruins with a moody poltergeist in tow.
To say 'but all is not what it seems' would be far too obvious, but obviously... it isn't.
What is the Compendium anyway, and what is the event each story is counting down to?
