"What is this place?" asked Meir.
Yocheved was quiet. She found herself in an area surrounded on all sides by perfectly trimmed hedges. On both sides, Yocheved saw smaller, square-shaped hedges enclosing empty areas. Thirty feet directly ahead of them was another wall with a narrow gap in the middle. Whatever was on the other side of this one, they couldn't tell.
"It looks like a house with lots of rooms," said Yocheved at last.
"But there's no roof. Who would live here?"
"Ok, I think we can go back home now," suggested Yocheved. This time even Meir wasn't about to rush ahead by himself. The strange presence of first the garden, and then this house was too disturbing even for him.
