In 1885 the English explorer and eroticist Sir Richard Burton published his famous translation of the 1001 Arabian Nights - a masterpiece of erotic literature. The Victorians were obsessed with fantasies of harems and dancing girls. Early photographers such as Nadar, Lehnert & Landrock exploited this - producing many portraits of Arab, Bedouin and Moorish women. Many have survived as postcards.
An illustrated anthology of over 100 vintage risqué images from Northern Africa & the Middle East... in our opinion many of the best photos from the late 19th & early 20th centuries.
Exotic belly dancers, seductive slave girls, servants, masseuses... Early color, sepia, hand tinted and B&W images - photographs, prints and postcards.
The PDF version features "mottled paper" effect to complete the Victorian "look-and-feel". An essential addition for the serious connoisseur or collector of erotica...
