This study provides a framework for creating a new nonprofit organization in Tennessee. PMLA donated a strategic consultant to prepare an initial framework for a new advocacy organization for education. This study provides a baseline organizational structure for this organization and better positions it for economic, technological, and social changes. This qualitative study is significant because it provides a strategic overview to a relatively inexperienced board. It is intended as one input among many that this organization will receive as it moves forward in its new charter.
