A history of 1st Lieutenant Robert Orcutt of the 57th Fighter Group, 66th Fighter Squadron. Bob was a P-47 pilot during World War II and was killed in action days before the war ended in Italy. This book is a document focused on providing a record from the time Bob enlisted until his eventual return years after World War II ended. The book was compiled through personal documents, government records, personal interviews with pilots that knew him, and assistance from historians in Italy. Many photos from Bob's personal effects have been included in this document.
