The 1954 publication of the “The Story of O” broke new ground in the genre of erotic literature. Anne Desclos, a respected French journalist wrote the book under the pseudonym Pauline Réage. Many feel that this book’s subtle sensuality has yet to be rivaled. The work was generally admired but there were often complaints that its ending had been vague. In writing “Roissy Revisited” this author offers an alternate ending as homage to O’s creator. I hope that any readers who may have missed the original are inspired to seek out and purchase a copy for a wonderful experience. Any attempt to expand a classic work is difficult. I do not offer this imagined conclusion as on par with the elegance of Réage’s writing. I penned this under the name Réage Réborn as an homage to O's creator. I have tried to impart a tone that will allow those who are already admirers to imagine, without too much effort, that they have picked up with O from where they left her at the end of the original. - Arika Lee
