"Sapient Satanism"

"Infernalia" is indeed the first satanic work I've read whose author does not come off like some pretentious, self-aggrandizing jerk. This is saying a lot. I've read the works of other Magisters of the Church of Satan whose orate and pompous narrative left me feeling bitch-slapped every time I completed reading a chapter. Quite to the contrary was my experience reading Magister Rose's "Infernalia" - I never once sensed a need on his part to 'farce' his work as a medium to expose an insecure and over bloated ego. As a result, I feel more educated, not deprecated - as how it ought to be. The chapter entitled, "A Better Place" was particularly intriguing as it expounds... More > on an ideal of class, government, and rule that is still ahead of our time. If your sensibilities are of the touchy-feely, self-deluding, egalitarian nature, then "A Better Place" will singe your frail constitution and most likely leave you in a catatonic stupor.

The one bone I have to pick with this publication is that scattered throughout the pages are grammatical and punctuational errors and verb-tense disagreements - and far too many for a work of 155 pages. Indeed, I found this particular fate offensive and insulting. I put forth the $35+ to have this book. For an author to not take the care to see to it that his work is not as grammatically impeccable as he knows how to make it is decidedly disrespectful to all potential buyers. In addition, it's just a terrible distraction to wade through such grammatical debris. I for one remain incredulous.

However, if you're a fan of satanic writing as I am, and can overlook the ungrammatical trespasses, I heartily recommend this book as a manual to life and living in this abhorrent and hypocritical world. For the Satanic student who understands the importance of study, this is a worthy tome. Thank you, Magister Rose.
