"Sapient Satanism"
"Infernalia" is indeed the first satanic work I've read whose author does not come off like some pretentious, self-aggrandizing jerk. This is saying a lot. I've read the works of other Magisters of the Church of Satan whose orate and pompous narrative left me feeling bitch-slapped every time I completed reading a chapter. Quite to the contrary was my experience reading Magister Rose's "Infernalia" - I never once sensed a need on his part to 'farce' his work as a medium to expose an insecure and over bloated ego. As a result, I feel more educated, not deprecated - as how it ought to be. The chapter entitled, "A Better Place" was particularly intriguing as it expounds... More >
