"An Exciting Adventure from cover to cover"
This book was EXTREMELY exciting for me to read. Any fan of Science Fiction or Star Wars will surely love this novel. The way Alex managed to describe every single battle in great detail amazed me, and the whole storyline was interesting. And the end drives you crazy! I can't wait for Shadows Book 2: The Resurrection to be published.
"This is our final attempt to take this planet. If you have not succeeded in seven days, retreat."
I paraphrased this quote from a chapter in "The Narlan Wars". Wow. Although this needs a proper grammar check, (and by proper, I mean professional...it was good enough to be coming from a kid), I promise you will astounded.
The storyline is great. Is there anyone out there who hates cliches? This is the book for you. Try to find a book or movie that this can be tied to, go ahead, it's a challenge. The battles are huge in this. The creatures, especially the Grekil, were very cool. And the twist near the end destroys every perception of a few characters that you may have developed. It ends like this. Done. It just finishes and you're like, "What? That's the end?" I received my copy of "Shadows: The Resurrection" yesterday, and guess what, go read the review on it on its page.
