"Tomb of the King" I have been following this Story in Webcomic form for almost a year now. The Creator is a wonderfully talented young woman with a nice sense of humor. Tomb of the King is essentially one of the 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road' quest type fantasy works. Our hero (Zair) sets off on a quest for his King (who really isn't such a nice fellow.) He gathers together a small band of adventurers and off they go. What truly sets this story apart is the gentle humor, the sweet romance between Zair and the lovely Ranger, Allyn, and the rich and absolutely incredible artwork!
What has blown me away (and as a webcomic creator myself, I have first hand knowledge) is the fact that Ms. Melis actually updates her webcomic with a beautifully rendered, full color page...DAILY! That's insane!
Anyway...this is a terrific story. As a hardcover it is of course a bit pricey...but the artwork alone makes it worth the price. The lovely story is just icing on the cake!
