This is a great, fast read for anyone who runs an office, a team, a division, or even a small group. If everyone followed these guidelines, I'm convinced the majority of office drama people experience would be eliminated.

Kaley Klemp has created a powerful, yet simple and thorough description of 13 principles that support the development of a close and safe group. Highly readable and engaging, this book will be useful to leaders and members of teams that want to build authentic connection. With a chapter on each guideline and enlivened with real-life examples, the book is readable in one hour and goes into just the right amount of depth. Enjoy!

13 Guidelines is a rare find. Kaley Klemp provides easy to use tools that can facilitate real change within your team. I try to read a lot of books on group dynamics, management manuals, leadership, motivation etc. Sometimes I come across one that I want to share with my team but I hardly ever pass them along as they are so busy that I feel bad about giving them a big book to add to their workload. I did not feel at all bad about giving them this one. Its only 85 pages and is an afternoon read at most. The guidelines themselves are great. We have already agreed to spend time at an offsite discussing how we will adopt the guidelines. I am going to have my managers bring this book to every meeting so that it sits on the table as a reminder of the commitment we have made to work on being an effective team.
