"A Photographic Journey Back to Marineland" I love the book. It brings back so many wonderful memories when I used to go with my grandmother. The pictures are beautiful. I would recommend this book to everyone.

"Marineland !" I revisited the ruins of Marineland about a year ago and realized how much I missed it. Baja Reef, petting the dolphins, the little stuffed toys, the whole deal. Finding this book and the CD of sound from the shows was incredible. In digging up old family super8 films, I discovered that (well, like probably millions of other people) I have footage of Bubbles, Orky, Corky, the baseball game, the wavy slide - all that. The whole park is razed now, but there are a number of shots in this book of not only the animals, but the park itself- pictures you won't find on any of the old postcards. And the detailed story of the park's closing was interesting - and infuriating. It's hard to believe they got away with it.
Anyway, highly recommended to anyone else who grew up at Marineland.
I have a Marineland-related project of my own, and if Mr. Patryla wouldn't mind getting in contact with me, I'd like to ask permission to use some of his materials.
