This work gives a slightly different slant on Chadwell Heath, which lies within the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham, Essex. Chadwell Heath itself has the most buildings within the borough over 100 years of age, and the study has proved very interesting. Here we take a walk around its streets, whereby I identify what actually still exists here in words and photographs, as well as examining the usual historical rhetoric.
