Fantabulous, evocative anthology of mostly-microfiction stories and poems (which largely embrace Asiatic, mythological and Nature-reverent leanings). This is one of the best erotica anthologies I've read in a long while. Every piece works, with recurrent themes and structures creating reader-enveloping moods. This anthology is not a rush-through read. Read this like you would read an excellent collection of masterfully-wrought, multi-layered comic strips -- read a few pieces, bask in their characters, and concise morality, wisdom and moods. Let the full impact of the pieces soak into your brain. Repeat this process whenever the mood strikes you. I hope my first poem anthology is this superb and self-assured. - Steve Isaak, author of "Can't sleep: poems, 1987 - 2007" and "Charge of the scarlet b-sides: microsex stories & poems"

"Well worth the money!" Don't think twice about buying this book. The poetry is beautiful and moving, transporting the reader into a different state, like a bellydance for the mind's eye. I expect to see Jane doing big things in the future.

"Like smooth Southern gravy topped by plenty of Tabasco" Jane Bartels has put together a delicious concoction of delicacies that are full of both smooth flavors and exquisite heat that will bring tears to your eyes. Her words flow like hot sauce poured out of a big-mouthed bottle. She adds piquant flavors from around the world, lets simmer, and serves in generous portions that go down easy, like the best bourbons. Consume enough of Jane's "Lust," and you'll be as besotted as if you'd downed several shots of the aforementioned best bourbon.
Try Ms. Bartels' "Seasonings." You'll become addicted.

"Season of Lust" Incredible use of the English language. This is a vivid and exciting book. The poetry is so original and the short stories take you to another place and time. A good read for a Sunday afternoon, with someone you love or alone. I would highly recommend this book

"Re: Well worth the money!" Damn!! Well, I am very grateful.

This vote of confidence from Angie Cameron, a writer that I love and respect, admire!

Wow! Thank you so much, Angie.

I can't write sex like you do...it's like I'm dancing with two left feet.

You glide through the motions like a ballet dancer...or better yet!

A Fairy!

Thank you so much. Applause from Angie Cameron I can live on all year!

Jane
