"Re: A treasure" I spent two weeks at the park last year; I've been craving Pam's cooking ever since, I just ordered two books, one for me and one for my girlfriend; if she can master these recipies I'll marry her!!!

"A Taste of Heaven It Is!" I spent two weeks at the Elephant Nature Park as a volunteer and got to enjoy the delicious food at the park. I purchased the book and tried out the recipes for my family and they were duly impressed. I love the Massaman curry recipe especially. I think it will become a regular for us. The book is easy to use and clearly written. A real treat for anyone who loves cooking or elephants.

"A taste of Heaven!!!!! " For lovers of Thai food and elephants! This cookbook is an incredible collection of classic and easy to make authentic thai receipes from the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand. In addition, it's filled with beautiful photographs of elephants at the Nature park. Not only do you get to enjoy the wonderful food, the proceeds from the cookbook go directly to support the elephants and is matched by the Serengeti Foundation.
I visited the Elephant Nature Park in 2006 and was inspired by the people, culture, food, and Lek's devotion to conservation of the Asian elephants. This cookbook helps to support the Nature park so that many others will have the opportunity to experience the inspiration.
This makes for a wonderful gift for the lover of Thai food, elephants, cooking, or conservation.

"I LOVE this book!!!" The recipes in this book are simple to make and delicious, I have made these dishes many times now and have found them to be foolproof! Scattered throughout are lovely pictures of the eles- my favourite is the chubby baby Aura sleeping peacefully, and also beautiful little stories by Kelli about the eles. I have been using this book as a fundraising tool for the park as Kelli suggests (she gives ideas in the back of the book on how to run a fundraising dinner- which dishes to make etc) and it has been so much fun and rewarding, not to mention that I get to talk about eles to all my friends and raise much needed money for the park! It is also a great gift idea- I have already had requests for this book as a xmas/bday gift.

This is an excellent initiative to raise money for the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand (where the recipes are from). The food is delicious and the cookbook is well laid-out and beautifully presented with photos and stories about the elephants. Even I (not much of a cook) can follow the recipes easily & successfully! My only recommendation would be to also make this cookbook available in downloadable e-book format.
