"Enlightening and vivid observations!"
I was engrossed by this book of narrations. Charmiene's interesting experiences and encounters of the culture in America - is seen through the thoughtful eyes of a European. It makes for interesting and thought provoking reading.
"Travels and insights"
I read this book from cover to cover and couldn't put it down. This is a book where you can read a chapter then reflect and enjoy the essence of each narrative before going on to the next one. Each chapter has its own picture and story to tell - I could visualize the scenes from Hawaii to Alaska and from Seattle to Texas. This author has an observant eye for human detail and she has a refreshing sense of humour too.

These lovely stories are genuine and easy to relate to. The author writes honestly and openly of her life experiences and emotions. I truly enjoyed reading the short stories!

The author reflects her interesting life in this book - a variety of observations that are insightful and filled with the ability to see the heart of a human being in everyone, will certainly inspire the reader.
