Michael Fogleman's book An Autodidact is the result of his project Autodidactism 2010. He raised enough money to spend a summer learning and writing a book while still paying for college. An Autodidact has both essays and creative pieces on various subjects, from an inquiry into the causes of happiness and genius to an account of his attempt at polyphasic sleep. Michael attends St. John's College in Annapolis, MD, where he is reading the Great Books in preparation for a Bachelor's in the Liberal Arts. He keeps a blog at mwfogleman.tumblr.com.
