"Anything But a Dog!" Having walked the same road, I've lived Lisa's feelings and stories and ultimately shared the same unshakeable and deep, deep love a mother has for her CMV child. A touching, heartwarming story." Tracy McGinnis, Founder of the Brendan B. McGinnis Congenital CMV Foundation (www.cmvfoundation.org) and mother of Brendan, born with congenital CMV

"Anything but a Dog" I'm going to have my older kids read it because I think it's great for kids as well as adults. It is very real. I think it's good for kids to know that all of us adults aren't perfect and that we feel crazy ways at times just like they do. The mix of humor and heartache is what makes it so good.
