Review by John Heppner, Long-Time Fancier and NPA President
The Pigeon World would not be complete without a book on pigeon humor. We have our local club bulletins, national magazines and the NPA Quarterly Review. Sooner or later someone would surely capture the funny events from around the loft and the numerous exaggerated stories from the racing world and the fancy pigeon shows. Or have you ever thought about how the pigeon interprets the events around him that are caused by his owners? Mr. Bruning captures, in an insightful manner, many of these possibilities. My greatest admiration for the cartoons in this book is that I can easily identify with the various scenarios presented. Humor is related so well if one immediately recognizes it. That is the strength of this publication.
I recommend it highly.
