"A sizzler!" A truly unique cookbook! Like a bottle of good champagne, it opens with a reverberating POP! and continues to fizzle and sparkle all the way through to the end. The lovely artwork is to be savored and it is brimful of recipes which are deliciously easy to follow. This cookbook is joyful, colorful, very artistic and quite enchanting - a wonderful addition to my collection. I will relish and revisit Art On A Plate time and time again. What a pleasure!

"Tessa Edwards has outdone herself!"
This book can be commented on in two regards, the artistic, or visual aspect, and in the culinary regard as well.

Visually it is indeed a treat for the eyes. A sight to behold, the pages are full of color and contrast. Each piece of art is surrounded by superb color, very well thought out and carefully placed. With the turn of each page your eyes will dance with joy as you take in the many different styles of artwork represented within.

In a culinary regard, the recipes are "real". These types of recipes are the type that you might receive on an index card from a favorite aunt or sister-in-law. They're tried and true, and easy... More > to create from start to finish.

Another interesting aspect of this book is that the recipes that are included have been submitted from all over the world. The variety is endless and totally inspiring!

This is not a "learning cookbook" by any means. You will not find informational bits like, "How to boil eggs" or "Substitutions and Equivalents in Measure". I would recommend it as a great addition to any cookbook collection, though, as it is unique and multifaceted, and definitely inspiring on many levels! I intend to give several of these as gifts over time, the quality of the binding, the colors, everything is top-quality. Very impressive.

Buy this book, you will not be disappointed. < Less
