"Brilliantly different" Awoken by an Angel is very different! Action packed with never a dull moment, the author takes you on a bizzare safari up and down the east coast of Australia. Struggling with a somewhat distastrous childhood, the author shares his battle with drugs and alcohol and how he came to believe in himself.
I would like to see this book as a film!
This book is very comical at times. Great read!

A gut wrenching story that you just cannot put down. An amazing journey told with real integrity of a mans struggles and his savior and success. Millions of people need to read this book world wide as if it only inspires, infects or reaches some it is well worth it. Great read! 5 Stars!

"Dont judge a book by its cover!"
This book is very different to other books of a similar type. When one of my work buddies handed me this book and said "You gotta read this!" I thought that I was in for one of those new age hippie type reads.

I was pleasently surprised when I got into the first chapter. What a roller coaster!. Awoken by an Angel presents some interesting concepts and challenged alot of my beleif system; especially about homeless people. The author takes you on numerous adventures and at one point see's him eating grasshoppers as he slowly but surely loses his ever dwindling sanity.

I think that this is a story of humanity filled with spiritual... More > overtones, combining some very fresh approaches. I was very moved at times by some of the little sub plots in the book that left me wondering how somebody could survive such abuse.

I would recommend this book to anyone who beleives in Angels and who needs a little inspiration. A heart warming and at times very funny "Awoken by an Angel" gets my vote. < Less

"Emotional, humorous and intriguing."
The author won my heart right from the beginning. I was intrigued as to how someone could get themselves out of such a mess.

I was extremely moved by some of the kind people who tried to help. This book reminds us that there are still good people in this world, that can only be described as "Angels".

The experiences that change his life can only be explained as miraculous. The seemingly heavy subject matter is cleverly broken up by a series of humorous misadventures.

Never a dull moment, this story is also packed with other pieces of information relevant to the book.

One day the author... More > decides to leave the city and go "somewhere" with out any plans or ties, he ends up camping out on the beach's up and down the eastcoast of Australia.

During fireside style story telling, he takes you back to various times of his life, that lead up to where he is today.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's a great read, well worth my hard earned cash! < Less

"Awoken by an angel" This book is a great read. It is filled with funny antidotes and misadventures. Its shocking that anyone could go through that much and live to tell the tale.
Once i started reading this book, I couldn't put it down.
This book also gave me hope and reaffirmed my belief in angels.
Well Done
