"Axiom Tutorial is Essential Reading" This volume is essential reading for new Axiom users. It is the first of several volumes on the Axiom computer algebra system and describes how to get started using Axiom for symbolic computation. Look for additional volumes in this series to be available in the coming months on topics such as Axiom programming (vol 2), a reference manual (vol 3), and an Axiom Developer's guide (vol 4).

As the Axiom website says:

Axiom is a general purpose Computer Algebra system. It is useful for doing mathematics by computer and for research and development of mathematical algorithms. The Axiom Language provides a very high-level way to express abstract mathematical concepts that are collected in the Axiom Library which defines over 1,000 strongly-typed mathematical domains and categories.

Thank you Tim Daly for making this new volume available!
