Banji wa Yume tells the story of Tsuhgi, and her purpose in the world of Mount Sumeru - the centre of the universe and home to Taishakuten, ruler of the heavens. The real, mythological and imagined characters, and their fates, are based on Buddhist and Hindu folklore, through which the reader is given an insight into a new way of thinking.
