"A "Must Read" From Someone Who Knows"
I found “Baptism By Fire” to be truly one of the most comprehensive books of its kind. A "must read" for anyone who is remotely interested in ghost hunting or spirit seeking. All that inhabits the unseen world around us does not wish us well as Dwayne Claud so eloquently relates in the chapters of this book.

Dwayne takes the reader on a voyage with him through three very different, and very breathtaking, case studies. He carefully documents what can happen when spiritual doors are left open when a group he is involved with investigates a demonically infested mansion in Ohio. Virtually no one in the group is left unscathed by the... More > darkness that inhabits this mansion as the group retreats back home to New York. What was supposed to be a ghost hunt turns out to be a struggle for life from demonic entities.

The second chapter takes us with Dwayne and his group, Western New York Paranormal, into the realm of the surreal as they attempt to aide a long suffering couple who live in a demonically haunted house. Called, the Triangle House, his deduction of how demons gained hold of the property is quite interesting. And his detailed account of how they attempt to cleanse the property is well done. The account is quite interesting and involves an old tintype photo circa 1810 that was found on the property revealing paranormal phenomenon.

Not to be left out of the book is a full-blown possession and subsequent excorcism, which Dwayne and WNYP must perform. Without giving away the story, the woman in question was given an official approval by the Roman Catholic Church for an exorcism to be performed. Dwayne has documented his cases so vividly that you feel as if you are walking through them with him all over again. The dialogue and storyline for this case has all been excellently recorded.

The revelation of the demonic "point of contact" is one that I have not seen focused upon until now. Dwayne has brought it to light as a very serious point and can often be the handle that demons hold onto in human lives. Not only are the stories true to life and told in a quite thrilling manner, they are told so that the reader may learn from them. There are also further resources at the end of the book. This work will arm the layperson with the armor they need to avert and confront these dark spirits should the circumstance present itself. Very well done!

"Baptism by Fire-Dwayne Claud" This book is an incredible, true journey of what happens between good and evil....I could not put it down once started and was glad someone was in the house with me when I was reading it....My uncle is a priest and ordained exorcist...Dwayne and his exorcisms and my uncles' are very similar...This book should be a textbook or "prayer book" for anyone dealing with the darker side of hauntings...I cannot wait for Mr. Claud's next book on "Hauntings" whether good or evil.

"Baptism by Fire" As the co-founder of a paranormal investigation team, I do alot of research on ways to keep our team safe. This book provided me with a wealth of information that I will no doubt fall back on in the future. If you are in the field, or interested in getting into the field, this book is a MUST READ. It is written in a manner that is both interesting and suspenseful. The message is delivered ia a fashion that all can follow, understand, and learn from. Thank you Dwayne for recounting your experiences so that others may develop their skills. It is rare that someone with your incredible knowledge of the world of demonology would allow the outsider in.
