These memoirs concern justice within the Church and the culture. They seek to shed light on the teaching of Humanae Vitae and the dissent from it. They may provide insights into the natural family planning movement, and they will clarify the role the Kippleys played in that movement.
This is a very touching memoir of John and Sheila Kippleys' life-work. I keep re-reading it and marveling at their tenacity in preserving and promoting Church teachings on marriage.
The book helps me to see that the dissent from Humanae Vitae was quick and broad. No wonder it took me three years to locate natural family planning instruction {NFP} in the l980's. The latter part of the book shares the shocking dissent toward the Kippleys' recent work and their disassociation with ccl.
Not to worry, though; keep reading how Divine Providence now has their Ecological Breastfeeding, covenant theology and symptothermal NFP instruction at Natural Family Planning International.
Reading this book will be an inspiration to persevere in trials plus, it is a delightful peek at the Kippleys' family, friends, travel and sports events.
