Lulu Marketplace

This book was written by a group of 100 high school students living in downtown Los Angeles who wanted to share their personal experiences and reflections on life. The writing process was part of a class project at the Los Angeles School of Global Studies, a New Technology high school. Students wrote personal narratives and poetry in English and Spanish about moments that impacted their lives. Students spent the year working together on projects and adding to their portfolios. After receiving peer-feedback and working on revisions, each student selected one piece to share publicly in this book.
