How can you miss with characters like Bellamy, the fussy but surprisingly clever demon; Kingpin, aka Lucifer, who sports cool clothes and a wicked tongue; and Lascivia, the demon princess of Rome who thinks she has Bellamy well in hand. Bellamy challenges psychologist Mackenzie Maguire by entering therapy and you'd never guess how the plot unfolds after that. So, I highly recommend this book if you want to be totally drawn in, touched, and realize when you've finished the last tear-jerking page that you've also learned something about God and your personality.

Who could ever think up a plot like this? The scope is grand. The details are rich, especially with the Santa Fe setting. But the characters surpass it all. Cosmic good and evil collide in Prince Bellamy from Hell sent on special assignment to destroy the faith of Psychologist Mackenzie Maguire, a woman whose self help books are doing enough good on Earth to evoke the devil's rage. And who would ever think this could be humorous and charged with suspense? The ending actually brought tears. Especially if you're a fan of C.S. Lewis, where theology is intertwined with an excellent story, don't miss this book!

This is a can't-put-it-down novel that had enough evil to grip me and enough good to keep the stakes high. The characters came alive as though I actually knew them. Prince Bellamy. Hacker. Princess Lascivia. Dr. Mackenzie Maquire. Tony Vargas. I chuckled on most pages and felt surprised throughout. The ending I never saw coming. This book works on a hundred levels!
