Awesome book. I was never a big poetry fan but this book converted me.
"Wow! I love this book!"
I first heard about Big Poppa E when I was a high school speech competitor a few years ago, and I always loved hearing his "Wussy Boy Manifesto" at events. I never realized how many AWESOME poems he has written! This is book is so much fun, and it's really moving and funny and I even cried at the very last poem!
Please buy this book, if not for yourself, then for someone you know! It's really that good!

Absolutely phenomenal!
I read this entire book at the beginning of my senior year of high school, and at the end of that year, "Death Wish," "Passersby," and "Propers" took me to Oklahoma State Finals in competitive poetry. There were actually two of us in the final round performing Big Poppa E's work. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, and it makes you say "Finally! Someone put everything I felt into words!" Big Poppa E is like no other, and I have a feeling his words will inspire generations to come.
It's simply amazing, He is amazing! Never before have I found poetry to be so funny and entertaining! Big Poppa E is one of my all time favorite poets, right up there with the greats like Langston Hughes. His writing is so real as well as hilarious, his way with words and crowd pleasing performances are what make him such a great poet. I don't see how anyone could not like his work! I would recommend this book to anyone, teenagers and adults alike. You don't have to be a fan of poetry to enjoy this. Pick up a copy, it's a great read!
