"Smooth"

I was impressed with how well it flowed from beginning to end. The actions and plot aren't arbitrary; it builds naturally from a seemingly small event and rolls downhill, taking the reader with it. Breaking Cover was an easy read, and I was reminded of - I shouldn't even say that - it is a spy thriller with plenty of well-written action after a certain amount of conflicts and internal adjustments the protagonist must go through.

There are many qualities elements a successful novel should have: Theme and meaning, prose fine enough to be called literature, imaginativeness, premise, internal consistancy, characters, motivation, believability, plotting, pacing, and a... More > kick-butt ending.

Some readers are already familiar with No Half Measures and know Jenny's style. She did a wonderful job with language, theme, consistancy - you'd know it if you read it. This is a different story with different characters, but it retains that touch and is an improvement on NHM in several areas. It's not a contrived ending either. With a difficult, by mainstream terms, subject to work with, she managed to give it the right "feel" at the end, that it all could have really happened, and leaves the reader quite satisfied. < Less

"Gripping, romantic thriller" Jenny has broken new ground in the way she wrote her latest - Breaking Cover. Her previous work - No Half Measures - is a sensitive, romantic portrayal of transgender transition. Breaking Cover builds on what she has achieved - and obviously excels at - and adds the ingredients of suspense and mystery to heighten the reader's involvement in the story.

She takes her time to build her characters, making them realistic and believable - people with feelings that all of us can identify with.

I couldn't stop reading until the end.

Highly recommended read. Great writing Jenny, and thanks!

"Breaking Cover" 007 James Bond eat your heart out! You wish you where as good as Steven Williams. AKA (Renata Williams). This story is packed with more action with out the "stupid toys." then any Bond story! With a plus, "the people in it." You'll either love them or hate them. I know I did!
Thank You, Jenny Walker for a great story

"Breaking Cover - great read" It was on the back of No Half Measures that I eagerly downloaded this story. This isn't a sequel to No Half Measures, it is something totally different. The only similar thing is that Jenny took no half measures when writing it.

This story is superbly written, with good attention to detail. The story keeps you hanging on, leading you with the hero into ever deeper action. It is a story that you want to keep turning the pages.

This is one of the best stories that I've read and purchased. This rates among the best of published authors and I highly recommend others to read it.
