"Review of Bridges" Bridges is a charming story of a little girl who visits her father while he is supervising a bridge being built. I really enjoyed reading it and found it well written. Lisa www.lisanevin.com

""Bridges""
“Bridges” was not what I had expected. The author captured the essence of childhood I had forgotten and amazed me with her ability to account for these extraordinarily raw emotions and perspectives. Anticipated events vividly unfolded with flowing dialog and lead me continuously to unsuspected conclusions frequently involving comic relief with sharp humor. “Bridges” envelops all of your senses so naturally that many times I forgot I was actually reading. Numerous characters were so alive, I felt attached and concerned with each turn of the page. “Bridges” left me feeling familiarly warm though it differed entirely from my own experiences.

Contrary to... More > many nostalgia genres, I felt I had gained an incredible experience rather than regret for times gone. Few and far between are books written like this where both an adult and their child can read together and share moments of roaring laughter and at the end, look at the each other wide-eyed.

The unfortunate component about this book was that it when it concluded it left me wanting to turn the next page again and again.
