"Haunting, Sensual, Humorous, Poignant" Angel Renee shines brightly here in this poignant collection of poetry. The emotions are naked and true, filled with pitch-perfect anger, angst, and pathos. I kept saying, "I know this person; I know these feelings." And that is one of the gifts that Angel Renee has: she approaches the familiar and makes the familiar new, as though you're experiencing all the pain and all the disillusionment of love for the very first time again. A wonderful collection. Do yourself a favor, and buy this collection, now. You will savor each and every poem, only to come away feeling hopeful and refreshed, having enjoyed the experience as though for the very first time.
