In an effort to give filmmakers access to better equipment comes this rare set of plans for building a higher quality and smoother operating stabilizer arm. Features include a spring tensioning system with a sled-handling range of 5-25 pounds, compatibility with the stabilizer system represented in the book CAMERA STABILIZER PLANS, a 6-spring pulley configuration for easier boom operation and smoother camera movement, and a sturdier more durable design than the author's previous homebuilt stabilizer arm. Costs to build will be much higher and machining is necessary, but quality always comes at a price.
