A very concise yet informative reference for butterflies of Estero Bay and great starting point for coastal San Luis Obispo County as a whole. Great use of arrows to point out diagnostic ID characteristics. Wonderful accompaniment to other references, and very slim and light to easily fit into a bag or backpack without notice. I keep mine in a 3-hole punch planner that I modified into a field notebook. Great to have on hand for any Bio work along the coast and/or anyone interested in butterflies. I downloaded the free copy as well, but prefer to have the non-profit printed copy. It is cheap in price and of better quality than what I could print from home (and likely cheaper than Staples or some other company). The paper is thick and printed with indelible ink, a must for foggy, moist, or rainy days on the Central Coast. I highly recommend it!
