F(a)eri(e) is an initiatory mystery tradition of Witchcraft, passed down by Victor & Cora Anderson, and those who can trace their lineage back to them. First popularized by Starhawk in The Spiral Dance, hallmarks of Feri include shamanic practices, as well as specific meditational and inner exercises. A highly personal path, it draws from many roots such as African spirituality & magic, Celtic mysticism, Huna, Middle-Eastern religion, sexual mysticism, ecstatic practice, and others. Witch Eye: A Journal of Feri Uprising began in 1999 as a place in which the various lines of our shared tradition could come together to express our unique views and share our magick.
