"Proceeds from the Book Do Not Benefit the Residents of Gush Katif " That is a point that should be clarified in the book's description, but is not. Proceeds from this book go to Barry Chamish personally, not to the former residents of Gush Katif who were evicted from their homes. Barry Chamish is trying to sell a book about their sufferings, but he has said, "more to the point: Screw You, Gush Katif." This forces me to question his sincerity here.

Mr. Greenfield, are you referring to the book description on the site? Has it changed since your comment was posted? There is absolutely nothing in the description that gives the impression that profits are being shared with the Gush Katif expellees. A wide variety of people have written books on Gush Katif and its residents. Some were active in the struggle to save Gush Katif, and deserve our gratitude. Some were happy to see us go and are trying to profit from our misfortune; I am an expellee. There is a least one book written by a complete outsider (no time resident of Israel) who although opposed the expulsion is highly critical of the residents and clearly wrote the book for his own personal benefit. To the best of my knowledge none of the authors are sharing profits.
