Otway Burns? Who was he? Does the name ring a very fuzzy bell? Well, it will soon ring out loud and clear over the valleys if you read this book, meticulously researched and put together with the craft of a professional who not only knows who and what he's talking about, but presents the tale on a silver platter. The opening title page lets you know immediately how much work has gone into the publishing of this book, and the extensive and highly interesting preface sets the scene for what follows - the life of Otway Burns, American privateer ( yes, they did exist outside of Western Europe ), business man and political figure.
