An added bonus is that not only does this book immerse you in a gloriously tropical world, you also get to know Carol and her family and they are as much a part of the tale as Tobago itself. I read it in one sitting and chuckled most of the way through. How can you not love a book that puts you on intimate terms with the Mother of all Blisters? There are also little pearls of wisdom concerning nature, our fellow men and our lifestyles scattered throughout.

I found this book absolutely delightful! It's the tale of an English family's vacation on the Caribbean island of Tobago--a world very different from their everyday life at home!--and all the funny adventures and quirky situations they find themselves in. Recommended to anyone looking for light, fun reading!
