After the favorable reception of my first CCIE training book, I developed five more intermediate-level scenarios, with solution configurations and task-by-task explanations of all tasks that require explanation. These five additional scenarios teach many lessons that were not included in CCIE Warm-Up: Advice and Learning Labs. I have kept the labs at the same intermediate level of difficulty. Some of the lessons were covered in Volume One, but many are new to this volume, or are configured using different syntax or in a different context. Note that Volume II is no longer "cutting-edge," and covers some topics that Cisco has announced will soon be removed from the Lab exam, including IS-IS, DLSW+, and ISDN, and does not include IPv6 coverage.
