The Christmas Clarinet Duet Book arranged by Kyle Coughlin features twenty five of the best known and beloved traditional Christmas carols. The carols are written specifically for the clarinet with beginner and intermediate students in mind, and they progress in terms of difficulty. The first ten songs are all in the lower register. The next fifteen songs are in both the upper and lower registers. The Christmas Clarinet Duet Book is unique in that there are at least two versions of every carol in the book. The first version of each song has the melody entirely in the top line of the clarinet parts. In the second version of each song, the melody is traded back and forth between the two clarinet parts.
