"Great book!"
This book is really well-written and detailed. It gives an accurate historical account of each shipwreck it covers. The special bonus is that is profusely illustrated with pictures throughout the book instead of merely bunching them together in one section. The photos of recovered artifacts sets this work apart from others. Mr. Grohman took the time to seek out direct sources for information rather than relying heavily on prevoiusly-published works. I highly recommend this book to those interested in the history of New York-area shipwrecks as well as to those scuba divers interested in viiting them first-hand.
