"confessions of a fisherman " If you love Florida stories and fishing, this is a great read. Mike Stubblefield will get you to laugh out loud as he takes you along on his adventures. I have thoroughly enjoyed his stories and you will too.

"Book Review" I got some laughs out of the stories but didn't believe the author when he said it was all based on "real" people and events. Then, I happened to run into a guy at a local sports bar that looked just like a fisherman in one of the book's pictures and asked him about it. He said "I'm Gator!" Further, he claimed he knew Tacklehead, Half Naked Charley and No Motor Zone Ned, among others. Well, OK. If you want an "air port book" and like the outdoors, then get this book. It's not a half bad read at all.

"My Review" For those people that fish on a regular basis, this book is going to strike home. Funny insights, humorous rules, and same plain old facts on the life of fisherfolks. I found the stories, many of which included people that I know, to be light, easy to read, and insightful. The second portion of the book (stories from the fish camp), was a little difficult to read. The method in which they were written is different from many styles, and requires a little more effort to understand them. The book is definitely worth purchasing and reading. It will also make a great gift for anyone that you know who spends his/her spare time with the maddening chase of fish.

"Confessions of Fisherman & Other Lies" The author has great knowledge of the estuaries and intercoastal areas of central Florida. Loads of humor, a fun read, especially for the outdoorsman.
