"I Dare You!"
I often find myself in the bookstore scanning titles, covers and synopsis saying "Which one of you will take me there?" I read to be transported...to be ensconsed in the world between the front and back cover. Daughter of the Sun is THAT EXACT vehicle. Not only do you step into the book, the book steps out into the world around you. This book is a wonderful and exhilerating ride. Your adrenaline rushes for the friends you make in the plot, your real world feels different because those friends are with you.

This is exactly what I read for, and Lonnie challenges you to take the ride as far as your imagination will let you, NEVER underestimating its boundaries. His writing... More > has huge pieces of meat to sink your mental teeth in. I dare you to pick up this book and ride the magic carpet of words. But don your best gear and tighten the saddle. It will take you soaring, and that, my friends, is the blast in reading! I have turned the last page of Daughter of the Sun but am still and will always enjoy the comraderie of the friends I made there. Just Awesome!

"Fantastic!" So far I have read this book twice and I must say, it just keeps getting better! Not your average fantasy novel-the story makes you think and touches you at your core. I can't wait until the second and third books are available.

"Unique and Entertaining" A mysterious woman, her daughter, and the drunk former warrior who is her husband...this is not your usual hero based fantasy novel. Lonnie Eazel has crafted something unique and entertaining. Somewhat reminscent of Goodkind's "Wizard's First Rule" in tone, Mr. Eazel takes the reader an a journey through a new world rich in texture and dangerous at every turn. Recommended!

"I hate the Duke!!!" Few characters in a novel get me so emotional that I am literaly screaming at the book because of what the characters are doing. Ezell details his characters and situations so well that I fully empathize with the heroine(s) and loathe the Duke. I can't wait to get this in an RPG setting so I can give the Duke the smackdown.

I devoured the advanced pdf version of the book and sat down for a second feast when I received my print copy. I hunger for the next installment.
