"Good, but missing something" Whilst Seor has every right to be called an epic, it lacked the substance to maintain my interest. The plot developed in a frustrating manner, with an array of excellently described but ultimately one-dimensional characters. Several tantalising ideas are proposed but not explored - to be expounded in the next book, hopefully!

Aesthetically, the frequent ellipses were particularly distracting, but the use of the present tense was refreshing and well-employed. The artwork was attractive but contrasted sharply with the visceral imagery of the narrative in its style.

Seor will appeal to dedicated fantasy/war fans, but seems to lack something to maintain its momentum for the duration.

"A truly great book" This is, to be quite honest, one of the best books I have ever read, and I do not have a lack of book reading in my life. Being a book that is filled with action, it his helped by its large proportion of the present tense. Not only that, but its plot will find you reluctant to put down the book because of a desire to find out what happens (present tense) next.

I would recommend it to anyone, especially someone who likes fantasy epics, or any epic.

"Re: Good, but missing something" Thank you for the review of my book "Seor".
I truly appreciate your kind words and constructive comments. I hope you'll read the next one when it is ready next year. It is hard to get anyone to actually post reviews so just know that I am very pleased that you took the time to do so.

Thanks again.

"Seor Yul!" I'm generally not a fan of novels, but I was surprised at captivating Seor was. The action is very well paced and backed up by a very clear yet deep story and vivid details. The way the author describes the battles is spectacular.

This is the first of a many part series, so be warned the book is open ended. A few typos, but nothing to complain about. Altogether a fantastic book.
