"Our Dark Reality"
I am not a big fan of poems. When I saw this book, I thought “Great someone else who thinks they can write poetry”
I compare all poetry to that of Garcia Lorca, so extreme few make the grade.
S.J. Rivera’s makes the grade. In fact, surpasses the grade. This isn’t just normal poetry. This is search your soul poetry. Looking into you inner self. Your inner Evil self. That self that we all try so desperately to keep hidden for fear of judgment. You won’t be able to look at your neighbors the same after kind of poetry.
