Dishpig reads like a stream of consiousness that denounces materialism and success as frivolous and unimportant. Tony, the introspective narrator, lives his life by his own rules. No apologies, no compromises, few regrets. His writing style is as unpretentious as the way he chooses to live. He is naked, exposing his heart and soul to those he trusts.
