A collection of thoughtful tales- my piece "Beautiful Dreamer" is the story of a friendship between a young human girl, Brittony, daughter of a Free-trader whose ship has landed on an alien world and the native alien princess Taluma Dekhara, a third Brittony's size but older, who is facing the changes the aliens have brought to her world. One has lost her mother and her memory and the other may lose her legacy. Can the two girls breach the gap between worlds? I wrote this tale for my nieces as I fell there is a dearth of stories for young girls or for anyone who wants to consider that there are other solutions to problems than, " a good blaster at your side." Not that it isn't a good idea to have one of those close too....
